Heh I get what you mean. I've always felt in GW, the melee classes are often disadvantaged unless in crammed, crowded areas. That is why I learnt to sub Assasin as secondary and all warriors should always bring along a movement skill (Rush or Sprint).

Warrior is my main and I still get alot of things done. We're one of the hardest classes to kill and can do excellent damage if unchecked. And to be honest, I feel every other play who plays other classes often feel there's a major drawback about their class that really bothers or annoys them. When I was ranger, I hated that my damage after spike combo sucks, and I normally can't do enough dps. And look at how aggressive knock-down and gale-axe warriors can get.

You can try my general usage build if you're interested, I'm having alot of fun with it in pve and fa:

Strength 11+2
Swords 12 + 3 + 1
Shadow arts 6

Shadow Refuge [Shadow arts]
Severe Artery (you can vary this it doesn't matter much)
Berserker Stance [Strength]
Viper Defense [Shadow arts]
Sun & Moon slash [Swordsmanship]
Hundred blades [Elite Swordsmanship]
Sprint [Strength]
Death's Charge [Shadow arts]

What would you suggest to replace hundred blades till someone can get it?

If you can't get 100 blades, it means you haven't completed the Prophecies mission set and don't have Factions, or you have but you haven't gotten to the Shiro's construct mission.

In either case, it shows your character is still in the early stages of play and you shouldn't even worry about being obsolete. For newer warriors, a simple Severe Artery -> Gash -> Final Thrust combo is good for dps. I think you should be able to do Raging Sword/axe build quite early.

Earthshaker. If you can't get hundred blades, then you probably aren't ready for Eye of the North, either, so Eviscerate is probably out.

Earthshaker is a great elite skill. Although a hammer warrior is a little different than a sword warrior, the premise is still the same (find the mosh pit and jump in).

Warriors arent underpowered by any means, yes they dont deal high damage but dont try to be a high damage player.
100B is one of the few builds for a war that actually does high damage, if u can get it into a nice ball.

Besides that use ur prof for support, be a tanker when playing with friends.
Use lots of skills like save urself, watch urself these are great for protecting ur team.
Try to get the main damage on urself.

Also warriors endurance is a great skill, in combo with a zealous weapon this is great to use skills as berserk stance, tiger stance u have plenty of energy.
Also skills like brawling headbutt are nice knock downs.
you move like a dwarf in combo with a touch of guile is amazing against bosses, and then u still are able to have a skill like save urselfs or asuran scan.

Just dont try to use ur warrior as a dps, when u play with just heroes and henchies its harder to tank but when playing with friends guildies even pug, thats when warriors can play their role to the best

OP is forgetting that he's taking the alpha strike. That's why he gets conditions and hexes n stuff. Because his hp is now lowered he's more likely to be targeted allowing his team to make stuff melt. I don't see the problem. It's more of an active tank job. You go in, get first blood, the alpha strike and then the rest is just endurance or killing speed on behalf of the rest of the team.

I get 70-80dps on dps guy in isle of the nameless and that's only with 2 other adjacent dudes without splinter or strength of honor or anything. Just my dude
